This webspace is reserved for an unnamed blog project for
Towson University's Mass Communication 407 course, Writing for New Media. It will detail various aspects of late-night life in
Baltimore, specifically various goods and services that are offered at hours that seem unconventional. As businesses offer a wider range of hours, society has come to accept McDonald's 24-hour drive thru, 24-hour fitness centers, and late-night drive thru pharmacies as normal as 24-hour diners.
24-hour diners seem regular in today’s society.
It’s atmosphere and constancy encourages customers while providing a haven for night owls.
In
Baltimore,
Towson students have a variety of options: Towson Diner, Bel Loch, and Paper Moon are only a few of the diners that are open around the clock.
Drive thru pharmacies and 24-hour gyms offer convenience for its customers.
Gyms give patrons a chance to work out in peace before or after the 9 to 5 work day.
It also offers flexibility for those who do not work the 9 to 5 shift.
The gyms also find an edge in the competition.
Meanwhile, pharmacies provide assistance during medical emergencies at any time of the day or night, enhancing the quality of the customer’s life.
Though these additions are new, they are growing rapidly as society responds favorably.
If there is a late-night service that has been recently added to Baltimore's late-night activities, feel free to share!

This seems like an interesting blog that most college students will find useful. I've been to both the Towson Diner and Paper Moon and I think it might be fun to interview some employees and clients of the two places. You could probably find out some more information about Baltimore life this way while also displaying the stories of people who keep the night life thriving.
